Old Manali Walk
Stone houses, orchard paths and a café lane above the Manalsu stream, two kilometres from town.
Overview
About Old Manali Walk.
Old Manali sits across the Manalsu bridge, about 2 km above Mall Road. The lower lane is the well-known café strip; walk ten minutes further and it becomes an ordinary Himachali village of slate roofs, apple orchards and the Manu Temple.
It is at its best out of season, when the shutters are down and you can hear the stream instead of the music.

FAQs
Old Manali Walk — questions.
What is the difference between Old Manali and Manali?
New Manali around Mall Road is the commercial town. Old Manali, 2 km uphill, is the original village — quieter, with cafés, orchards and guesthouses.
Is Old Manali good for couples?
Very. It is the calmer side of town, and most of our couple stays sit within a short drive of it.
