About Hadimba Devi Temple.
The Hadimba Devi Temple was built in 1553 and is dedicated to Hadimba, the wife of Bhima from the Mahabharata. Its four-tiered pagoda roof and carved wooden doorway make it the most distinctive building in Manali.
The deodar grove around it — Dhungri forest — is as much the point as the temple itself, and stays cool even in June.
